Beyfortus - RSV monoclonal antibody (update 9/6/24)

There is a new RSV passive immunization called Beyfortus (nirsevimab). Beyfortus is a monoclonal antibody with activity against RSV. Monoclonal antibodies are laboratory-made proteins that mimic the immune system’s ability to fight off harmful pathogens such as viruses. One dose of Beyfortus, administered as a single intramuscular injection prior to or during RSV season, may provide protection during the RSV season.
We hope to have supply to again administer Beyfortus in the fall of 2024 (or as we are advised by the CDC).
If you are interested, please send a portal message selecting “RSV immunoglobulin” template, read all information, see consent form and answer the questions.
